Betreff: STAR SELLER STATS CALCULATION WRONG
What does it say under „Previous review period“ (01 June–31 August, 2024)?
The stats displayed under „Current review period“ refer to the next Star Seller badge, which will be awarded on October 1st.

I am talking about the "smooth dispatch" badge, that has been always 100%, last month, this month, the month before and always. So why do they remove it even though i had the smooth dispatch last month, and it is still 100% with no badge?

I got that. Nevertheless, the question is still relevant to figure out your issue.
Did you check the „on-time shipping & tracking“ stats of the previous review period?
Yes? No?
If 100% is actually displayed, you will need to contact Etsy support.

Re: STAR SELLER STATS CALCULATION WRONG
go to your star seller stats and download the CSV file for smooth dispatch for the previous period.
That will provide details one which orders you got star seller dispatch credit for and which ones you didn't.
Just guessing, but it could be that something you dispatched on time with tracking ... the carrier system didn't sync with Etsy's system. That happens with some carriers systems.
Or it could be a tracking number was mistyped ... easy to do if you're not buying Etsy labels or using a system that syncs with Etsy. Could even be a leading or trailing space on a label, or transposed numbers which would make the tracking number invalid.

@GlassyFieldsgo to your star seller stats and download the CSV file for smooth dispatch for the previous period.
Unfortunately, the CSV files for the previous review period can no longer be downloaded. I’m not sure if this is a bug or intentional.

Re: STAR SELLER STATS CALCULATION WRONG
Yes I got dinged this month for missing a tracking. When I checked the item had a tracking number it was for UPS NOT USPS which seems to be Etsy's primary calculating shipper for tracking. If there is a tracking number entered that should be sufficient but evidently not!

Re: STAR SELLER STATS CALCULATION WRONG
@GouldsCollectibles: While not explicitly stated, the tracking number has to be a verifiable tracking number. Obviously a UPS tracking number will not validate through USPS.
This is one requirement that makes sense otherwise the amount of abuse by entering any gibberish as a tracking number by dishonest sellers would be astronomical.
Long before Star Seller was even thought of, we got into the habit of spending a few minutes daily checking the previous day's shipments to make sure that they were at least "in transit" so if something was wrong we could fix it within the 72 hour window we are allotted.

Re: STAR SELLER STATS CALCULATION WRONG
I see the smooth shipping badge on your shop. So maybe Etsy fixed it. I don't however see rave reviews.

Re: STAR SELLER STATS CALCULATION WRONG
Yes finally fixed the smooth dispatching. Yeah, the rave reviews do not show up as I have 1 review that is 3 stars and I have like 55 sales and also all the other reviews are 5 stars. That is so unfair that now i cant get rave reviews because once just once someone gave me a 3 star as the only reason was even that the product was smaller than they expected. And even though I provided the measurements before they purchased... So...very unfair!

Re: STAR SELLER STATS CALCULATION WRONG
@LuminaBySuna Yes, it's unfair but it happens to all of us. I got my first ever 3 star review (out of 150ish reviews last year) with no real explanation. Just that they felt "meh" basically. Welcome to ecommerce! Any shop with nothing but perfect 5 star reviews is probably fake. Sorry it happened to you, but it will fall off your average after 1 year.
