I am located within the United States, I do not ship internationally. I have someone contacting me from Italy asking about our fabric. Already messaged her and said we do not ship internationally and there must be a glitch or something.
@RobinsNestQuilts2016 There are a lot of glitches going on right now, sorry to say. And I don't know if someone in a country you do not ship to has the capability to Message you (I never experienced that). I don't know what they see on their end re: your Shipping. The only other thing I would suggest is perhaps is to Contact Etsy. Via Shop Dashboard > Community & Help (Left Column) > Contact Us.
I hope this helps in some way.
International buyers can still view your shop and listings, along with favoriting them, even though you don't ship outside the US. They can also send messages. Not a glitch.
It could be that she just hopes you'd make an exception for her with that fabric?
@TheVintagePineapple Thank You for verifying re: Buyers in countries you don't ship to, do have the capability of Messaging you. I wasn't really sure, as it's never happened to me.
People in countries you don't ship to can still see your shop and items. Under "Shipping and return policies" it says "Sorry, this item doesn’t ship to *your country*. Contact the shop to find out about available shipping options." So Etsy actually suggest to write to the seller to inquire about it, which I find is Ok personally as I might be willing to make exception once in a while depending on where and what the item is.
