Response to messages calculated incorrectly due to duplicate messages

I've responded within 24 hours for all messages but there were duplicate messages from same buyer which I didn't respond again.  This is working against my score.  Please fix it!

You have to respond to each new message thread

If the customer writes you a message, about the same thing, you have to reply to them both.

Etsy isn't going to have people reading millions of messages a day, to see if they say the same thing in different messages.

The rules are....................

you didn't do it,  it is working the way it says it works, there is nothing to fix.

Unfortunately as it says right on your Star Seller page and elsewhere, you need to reply to (or mark as SPAM) the FIRST message of EVERY NEW INCOMING THREAD within 24 hours. It does not matter who sent it, the subject matter, if it is a duplicate or blank or anything else.

All NEW messages irregardless if they are duplicates of each other must be answered.  Either a reply or spam.

Nothing for Etsy to fix.  Maybe spamming that message now might help for next month....maybe?  Worth a try, I would say.

Same thing happens to mine. However, I don't even think the seller badge does anything, it should, but it doesn't!

@SoulshineVintageOH   It does have an affect.  Not on sales but it can protect a seller from payment reserve. Plus a few other perks.

@SoulshineVintageOH  Star Seller does not help with sales. I haven't had it for a few months because I don't make the $300 minimum. I'm still making sales. I've talked to a few people who shop on Etsy and they all said they had no idea what Star Seller is.
