I got a message from a potential new customer yesterday which I replied to right away and it’s not showing in my stats. I know it takes a day sometimes to update but should it not have updated by now? Thanks!
Same thing here. Received an email yesterday marked as "first message from potential buyer". I replied immediately (2 x's in fact to answer her questions) .... but as of today, it's still showing that blue message about replying within 24 hours.
When will this glitch be fixed? And does it effect our star seller status? @FabioMcMustache @FabioMcMustache
@DangeacPainting @SilverandEarth : Usually a new incoming thread is not included until after the 24 hour reply window has passed regardless of when you replied and the Star Seller stats (and the CSV file) seem to be updated only once per day so there may be an additional day's delay.
My concern is that I'm still getting that message in "blue", which makes it appear that I never answered. In the past, the minute you reply - that blue message would disappear. But now it is not.
I'm having this issue as well. I replied to the messages promptly and have had several back and forths within those messages, yet they are showing as "new".
I'm still getting that blue blurb, "A buyer has reached out for the first time". It won't go away, even after I've Responded. I see where it's a glitch.
ETA: In this Thread on the last page, Seller WoodbineEverlasting addressed me last night re: this glitch. Also, Admin thatregina posted in the Thread.

I just got back from chat and apparently Etsy changed it to behave this way on purpose but the chat response doesn't make sense. Sounds like made up crap. All it does is confuse sellers. If you respond, the banners should disappear.
"It's intended this to stay for longer hours for now to prevent new sellers from those accounts whose impersonating as Etsy"
@herflyinghorses "It's intended this to stay for longer hours for now to prevent new sellers from those accounts whose impersonating as Etsy"
I guess I need an Etsy interpreter because that explanation doesn't make any sense to me.
@herflyinghorses @SilverandEarth : That answer sounds like the kind that Artificial Intelligence (AI) makes up (hallucinates) when it cannot find an actual explanation. AI never seems to be programmed to say 'I cannot find an answer to your inquiry'.
@BagmakerSupply I think you are right! LOL! Sounds like she got an Artificial Un-intelligent chat bot!
