I auto renew all of my items. For assessing the cost of each item I track renewals vs. sales. On all renewals that are dated FEB 12th for my shop, everything had renewal statistics that added 2 renewals, not 1. I wasn't overcharged. But, to track this for my business and analysis of my items, I MUST be able to trust Etsy's numbers and they MUST be accurate.
To be clear, I've noticed an odd item double the renewal number in the past, and I've let it pass and absorbed it into the consideration of the viability of the item for sale. But, on items renewed to FEB 12, most renewal stats were double what they should be and in two cases, they were TRIPLE. I wish I could just be able to go in and correct that renewal number on the item stats myself when I know it's wrong.
