Just did a partial refund on an order and the customer is messaging me wanting to know why she is being asked how she wants her refund processed. And then it takes her directly to etsy. Of course, she wants it process to her original form of payment. Don't know why she was asked this.
Did she get an email or Etsy message?
Etsy just started something new where they can have a refund credited back to payment method like usual which sometimes takes a few days for the credit card company to make the funds available again or now Etsy can issue them an Etsy credit that they can use on Etsy right away to purchase something. Till customers get used to this it will be very confusing to them.
