Random Spammers messaging me

Jump to solution

Just curious if anyone is getting countless fake messages saying an order has been placed for one of their Printity tshirt they have designed? I keep getting all these fake names with no photos messaging me they purchased my item and to click a random link even a YouTube link. What’s going on with this? Is this normal? I’m thinking about not selling anymore if this continues. Is there anything I can do? My page is fairly new and I haven’t made many sales. Not sure if that makes me a target.

Your shop is new and unfinished, so you're a target for scammers (like many other sellers, unfortunately).

Mark such messages as spam, don't just ignore or delete them.

Be sure to finish your shop (About page, shop members, production partners, policies).

Onesie is trademarked.

If you receive an actual order, you will see it in your "Orders and Shipping" section and you will receive an email from Etsy notifying you that you have a sale, and there will be a notification in your dashboard as well.
