I have had an Etsy shop for 15 years and have never had this issue, this can't be correct. If it is, it's a step back for editing listings. I have 285 listings that I want to add a photo to. I got through page 1 with no problem. But once I got to page 2, every time I publish the listing, I'm directed back to page 1. I have to go to the end of the page and arrow to page I want and then find the last listing I edited and start over. I don't remember it ever taking me back to the beginning. Is it a glitch or were they not thinking when they made this change?
That’s the way it works, but there’s a solution.
Open the listing to edit in a new tab. Close it when done. The original page is still there.
^^THIS^^
That's exactly what I do. Too many tabs does slow Chrome down a bit because it's a resource hogger. Even though I have the most RAM you can have in a computer and a SSD, Chrome hogs up nearly 50% of available resources.
I also do them by sections to make what I'm editing or working on less irritating.
THANK YOU!!!!
yes... it goes back to page one.
I tend to right click and open in new tab.
but can't you apply the image change to all listings instead of just the 40 on that page? (not something I've done but just wondering)
You can only add an image to one listing at a time. It's a pain.
I use GetVela for most of my bulk editing ... it's so easy to edit ALL listings at the same time, rather than 1x1 like on Etsy. Tags, photos, prices, titles, descriptions, categories, policies, shipping, etc.
Thank you, I'll check it out.
