Proof Pesky Favourites Popup scares customers off !!

OK. So I reopened my shop in February and don't have a ton of listings, so it was very easy to check my favourites.

My stats show that for this year I had 46 favourited items. When I go to my listings page there were only 15 favourites remaining. 

Way to go Etsy...annoy the hell out of potential customers with your continual popups until they remove the item they favourited.

Same here! I'm being followed around with a pop-up that says "hurry only O left and already in one cart".

I'm talking to chat right now. I typed this:

Hi. Is there a survey I can fill out to say how much I dislike the "favorited item pop up" test. It is extremely annoying. It pops up whenever I click on ANYTHING in my shop. It's beyond obnoxious programming. Where can I log a complaint with Etsy engineers?

They asked me for a screenshot showing the popup. If enough sellers do this, send a screenshot to chat, maybe they will trash the test. Fingers crossed!!

Hopefully they do pass it along. I told him sellers hate it, and my favorites have been dropping like flies.

This isn't just an Etsy thing. I see it on Ebay, and Rubylane. It's annoying, but I don't know any Website that doesn't do this in some form.

Same here pops up all time. And same behaviours here. Things go in cart and are removed very quickly. Friend of mine who shops on Etsy mentioned how annoying he is finding it. As for abandoned cart offers l have mine on and was getting regular sales from it but nothing atall for ages. April was not even half of the revenue compared with last year and last year shop was on holiday mode for few weeks. Used to have customers coming and  buying vintage gifts a lot now nothing compared to before. Everything has stopped dead. No one is adding favourites it is so quite l suspect this pop is the main reason and new gift idear too appears to have  stumped it for a hell of a lot of good shops too. UK economy nose diving too.

Sorry to revive an old threat but I got a like on my post which put this thread back in my mind. 

I just realized I haven't had the favorited item pop ups in quite awhile! Didn't even notice they went away until I read this post again! I have noticed my workflow has been much more efficient lately lol!

Question: am I just out of the test, or is this well and truly over at last?!!  I'll reserve celebrating until I know for sure.

What bothers me about the pop ups is when I’m try to do something in my shop, say rearrange items into different category’s that thing pop’s up?!  Have to click it gone every listing I open. I mean really?  Oh sorry, just realized this is a. Old thread. LOL

Yes, only when I go into a listing but yes they are my own listings!

Boo... I wish they'd do away with it completely. It's the most annoying thing Etsy has done since the Super Bowl ad about cheese.

It started doing this favorite pop-up about a week ago for me. I'm getting ready to unfavorite it, but I wonder if that one will just be replaced with the one I favorites right before it? A while back I had like 2 or 3 pop-ups going on at the same time! A reminder about items in my cart, a reminder that so and so sent me a than you coupon, and review reminder pop-ups. That drove me to the brink of a complete meltdown! I do wish more buyers who are just buyers and not sellers would complain and complain loud! 

I guess I'll use the usual means if contacting Etsy to voice my concerns over this since there is no known survey for it yet. Not so much for myself, but to ask them to think about how much this is annoying buyers trying to navigate the site.

WHY is this still happening Etsy??? clearly people do not like it! How can we "report" this annoyance so it will go away?
