Promotion and Sales Setup Search for a Product

When I set up a sale or promotion, I want to search for a product but it lets me enter just one letter, and if I enter more than one letter, all disappears. Is anyone else having this problem? It's really hard to find what I want.

Are you using the app or a browser? where are you searching - within your own shop?

@Wayshowers: If you are referring to the lookup box after choosing 'Select Listings' on the Set Up A Sale page, then no. We have been starting sales today and have not experienced that using a browser.

Hi there. When you go to Sales and Marketing, click on an existing promo and select " Edit Included Listings." Then you have two choices, to add by section, where you have to then delete every product you don't want to include, hence the frustration when I have just one product to include. The second option is to "Add a Specific Listing." Try to type more than one letter into that box. Does it let you or does your text disappear? My text disappears. I appreciate it if you could test that for me! Thanks so much.

I've tried it on Firefox and Brave on desktop. I've tried the app on both my phone and tablet. Can you please read my last post and test that for me? Thanks so much!

@Wayshowers @ : We don't often edit sales (we tend to create an individual code for each item) but we tried and the only way we could get the text to disappear was to enter something that was not a match, such as 'zzz'.

That has been a problem for a very long time.  Sometimes it works, but my experience is that it usually doesn't.  Sometimes typing really fast works, other times typing a letter at a time works and sometimes nothing works.

I'm sure they are aware as it has been happening for a very long time.  They don't care.  They would rather you put everything on sale for at least 25% off.
