I am a new seller on Etsy from India. I am planning to sell personalized products, but my production partner is based in China.
My questions related to this topic are as follows
1. Since my shop's location is in India and my production partner's location is in China, is this going to have any negative consequences, and does Etsy support this business model?
2. If I just put my shop location as India, and in the shipping settings of the products I put the address of my production partner in China, is that enough, or is it mandatory to mention all the details about my production partner in the about section of my shop? And if I don't mention all the details about my production partner in the about section of my shop, can that lead to my account suspension?
Please answer these two questions, I'd be very grateful.

If you are personalizing a base product sourced from China that is a supplier not a production partner in "etsyland". You do not have to claim your suppliers publicly but Etsy wants ethical sourcing. If you are having a factory in China make a product to your specific design that is not available elsewhere, that is a production partner. If you are buying a ready made item you had no part of the design in China (or elsewhere) that is reselling..not a production partner and not allowed on Etsy.
wait but what if it is a dropshipping situation, like I'm using Yoycol. Is that considered a production partner or a supplier?
If yoycol is printing items with YOUR design on them, they would be a production partner. If you haven't already, check the link posted higher up in this thread.
Thanks they would be doing that, but so far I can't seem to get the items to sync. Thank you for the clarification and bringing my attention to that link, I will read the information there.
