I have 6 sales currently this morning with them all sitting at the status "Processing Etsy order"
We're still processing your order and will follow up with a confirmation email as soon as this is complete. Most orders process within 72 hours, although they may occasionally take longer.
6 sales in a row all withing 1 hour all saying the same issue when historically over the last 12 months I've been lucky if I've had 6 in total
Anyone else having issues?
All my sales are also pending. I have asked my husband to do a trial purchase, same thing.
Are the sales that are now clearing under £50/$50?
And the sales over £50/$50 not clearing?
By any chance.
Not sure the price is a factor, as I have a sale for £10 that’s still not cleared.
Very annoying.
The price is a factor when Etsy are blaming Klarna, only certain purchases are eligible for klarna so if it is under the eligibility amount you can rule out Klarna as a cause of the problem. If it's happening to sales under the eligibility amount then it is a problem/issue with the payment processor.
I see! So if it’s it’s happening to orders under £50, then it's not an issue with Klarna then. Thankfully my orders have now cleared so hopefully others are too, looks like it's slowly on it’s way to being resolved whatever the cause : )
Hmm I also have orders stuck on pending/processing. Glad I am not the only one- hopefully Etsy gets this fixed asap, customers will become frustrated.
Update- some are now coming through!
I currently have 5 pending sales, all ranging from £1 - £20. The £1 is an item i have asked my husband to purchase from the shop to check if it happens to him as well. None of them have come through even up to now.
@kolourcafe Thank you for confirming that.
It's comical, Etsy chat are still trying to tell me there is not an issue
same. i am chatting with them now and i am getting the standard copy/paste answers of "I would like to inform you If you're seeing a notification or received an email about a processing order, it means that the transaction is being reviewed by Etsy."
At least you are getting access to Chat
I got told there was as issue but i had to really fight for this info. I directed them to this thread
I have the same, never usually get any but have 6 from this morning only??
I currently have 6 orders all just in all saying Not Paid .. and of course here in the UK we don't have the Chat Facility until the afternoon, and all the other Help buttons are no longer working. I don't understand how it can say it's available 24/7 to Star Sellers when it clearly isn't if you are in the UK. So blooming frustrating when we have constant Royal Mail strikes making life difficult enough ... grrrrr
im in the UK too.
I am online with them now. I just chose a random help topic and used the chat button

This makes me glad I don’t have any new orders this morning. I hope it clears up soon!
They are starting to process now.
My issues now is that now they have been processed Royal mail click and drop is not seeing them
Both of my two orders have now cleared. Just finished a chat and got the standard it can take 48 - 72 hours but was adamant with the rep that tjis is not usual and could they log it. For now it seems the issue is being resolved
Is it actual sales or a glitch? Someone made a post a few days ago about phantom sales.
Hi folks, thank you all for your reports. The issue that caused some orders to experience extended processing has been resolved, so your order statuses should be updating now. If you still have orders in a processing state, please let our Support teams know: etsy.me/etsyhelp
It's happening again!!!
I have no idea how many orders have been lost due to this, I had this message from a client this morning;
"Could you tell me what has happened to the order I made some weeks ago for 3 sculptures. According to my credit card the payment was approved but has not yet been taken & I have had nothing other than the initial email response from you. I'm really disappointed"
