Greetings. I am the owner of a shop called Mesquite Collective. I make cooking utensils out of mesquite wood in South Texas and have been selling on Etsy since 2019. Over 1,000 sales. For the third time, the algorithm has decided that mesquite is a noxious weed thereby preventing my from posting new listings with the word mesquite in them. The previous two times, the issue was resolved. This time I am getting no response from chat or the multiple emails I have sent. Very frustrating. Anyone else having problems with communicating with Etsy?

Would buyers search for this wood specifically? Perhaps if it's not 'that' important a search term, remove it from your title and tags, and just put it in the description.
You can either give up using mesquite wood merch altogether or
email etsy support and include screen shots of the item to help your issue AND importantly, reference the previous support tickets that have been resolved in your favour. Include the actual links to those tickets from your history. Include names of the technical sport person that helped solve each of those issues. That helped me with my last issue.
If you email, at least you get it all off your chest, succinctly, and await their reply without the aggravation of a chat or phone support person not having a clue what you are talking about or where to look in their book for an answer.
Good luck!
Giving up mesquite is off the table. it is literally what my shop is based on. I harvest off of my property. I've done the screen shot thing. As mentioned, the problem has been resolved. Twice. My current problem is getting them to respond at all.
Cool stuff by the way. Following.
Thanks. I think I may have tried that already, but frankly, I've tried so many things I can't remember. I'll try again.
im having this issue right now as well. Did you ever find a solution to this problem?
