Puede tratarse de una estafa, ten cuidado. No des tus datos, mi tu correo electrónico.
Is this 'buyer' asking for your email because they're having trouble with their order? If so, it's a scam and the reason you can't send a message is because their account was deleted.
If you can't reply for some other reason, perhaps your messaging privileges have been revoked for sending unsolicited messages to potential buyers. Were you contacting people who favorited your shop or items?
This is a scam. Don’t respond or provide any personal or financial information. Send it to spam.

@dragonfliesjewerly: It would be helpful if you indicated that the error is.
If the error is that the account does not exist, that message usually means that the account has been closed (either by the user or by Etsy). Just in case, you should make sure to mark the message as SPAM (at last report you cannot do that using the app, only a browser, even your mobile browser). And read the above posts about scams currently attacking Etsy sellers.
If you are getting the "Bummer, your messages have been temporarily disabled" advisory then generally it is because the system has detected that your account has been sending unsolicited non-transactional messages. While you are waiting for Etsy to reactivate your messaging you may want to read the "Dos and Don'ts of Communicating With Customers" https://www.etsy.com/seller-handbook/article/26590492608
