Problem with updating my listings

Hello everyone,

I have this problem where whenever I want to update my listings' written part (description and title) also shop announcements, it does not save it! It takes me several times until the updated version actually shows up in my shop. 

So basically, I go to my listings, edit my description then hit publish listing. But as soon as I click on the updated listing to check if everything looks good. The updated text is not there. I even tried to wait some time to see if Etsy maybe needs time to process things but no. 

Then I have to go back and re-write everything again, and again and again. At least 5 times for each listing till it shows up in my shop as I want it to be. Same with my shop announcement. Everything that has a written part that I update takes me several times. 

I don't have many listings, yet it feels like I have a ton because I have to re-write everything over and over again. 

My only solution until now is to copy and paste my updated text into my notes, then drag it into my listing, and hit the publish button until it actually updates my stuff. But it still costs me a lot of unnecessary time.

I have never heard of this.  Maybe you need to wait for longer before redoing it.  You could also try using a different browser like Chrome.

I'm already using Chrome.

I've also checked the waiting time. I originally found out about this problem, because I one day updated something, and a couple of days later I saw that the text was still the old one. 

Then I started to experiment.

So even waiting for days didn't change anything. The only thing that worked for me was updating and publishing it over and over again until it is saved

I have this same issue! I think it’s due to their new version and look for updating and creating listings. Some things I can update, like the price and tags, but the text and title area doesn’t update. After a few hours or a day later I noticed that the update did come through. I already reported this problem in a chat. I think we have to be patient and wait

I am having this same issue.  I have updated the price of an item and shipping cost and posted it several times but still have it show the old information.  In my shop manager, the changes show for me, but when someone bought it, it was for the old price and shipping charge.  I have just done it as a copy and changed the info in the new copy then deactivated the old item listing.  Should this work?  Is there some secret to getting changes to go through correctly?
