Problem with returned deposits

Jump to solution

Hi, I'm having a problem. 2 months ago My ETSY deposits go back to my payment account and the Update Banking Information logo appears. I previously contacted the bank to inquire about the cause of the problem. They replied that no deposit had been received, knowing that I have been using the same banking information since the account was created without change. I contacted customer service several times and unfortunately I get the same answers every time and in the end the complaint was closed without any assistance. Did any of you encounter the same problem?

@TheVintagePineapple may be on to something. Your shop page says you are in the US, but you ship from Turkey. While I don't know if that is the problem, it could be.

You need to show any partners you are using if you are not handling the entire production yourself. Here is a link to that requirement:

Has your banking card expired?

No, it is still valid, but if there is a problem with the bank card that affects the deposit?

Could it have something to do with the difference between where you say you're located and where your items actually ship from?   Is your bank in the US or Turkey?

This may sound like a stupid question, but have you verified that ALL the information you have provided to Etsy is accurate? It needs to be the exact same way that it appears on your bank account. Name, account number, etc. I assume you are using your bank account.
