Hello, I have an issue with the Star seller; specifically, a shipment that was sent on time and has a tracking number. However, in the Star seller report, it appears as a shipment without tracking. This has lowered my on-time shipping rank to 97%, which could have a negative impact in similar cases, even though I consistently ship on time.
the shipper has to be a shipper recognised by etsy - recheck the shipper, on the order, is one recognised by etsy, and is the one with the tracking number, and it's not clicked the wrong one
the tracking number has to be exact, no leading blanks, no training blanks, and "0" and "O" have to be correct
and it has to be entered, by the ship-by date, even though etsy allows you to enter/update it later, it doesn't count, if it's entered/updated after the ship by date.
It's shipped on time, it's correct tracking number. It's has been ordered on Dec. 1st and shipped on same day.
Same problem for me with PostNL packages. The shipping company is PostNL in my case - it is a supported shipper anyway, all tracking ID and everything was written right.
When you enter a tracking number from POSTNL, you need to make sure that if the parcel is international that you select "PostNL International 3S"
In addition, there is a glitch that once you enter the tracking and select PostNL International 3S that it automatically switches the carrier from PostNL International 3S to POSTNL which puts your order back in pre-transit.
This has also happened with parcels using DHL / DHL express
So for Europeans it is best to double check the shipping status 1 or 2 hours after you have entered the details to make sure it has not automatically changed the carrier, if it has just switch it back to the correct one and it will stay and switch to transit.
Extra note: this has been going on for 2 years or more and has yet to be fixed, so this has worked for me.
Why are you using POSTNL when you are located in Hungary? and dispatch from there?
Yes, it's for package shipped with Post NL, but is not fist one with Post NL and never had that problem before.
I use a local Bulgarian intermediary who offers different offers for different postal operators from Europe, so I choose the most advantageous offers depending on the moment.
@CryzalisDesigns - This thread from a few weeks ago. The OP having an issue with PostNL & they're in Canada:
I don't understand all the ins and outs of using a Postal Service other than the one from your country of residence but apparently a number of shops do this.
@JMOldeVintage I was answering the seller who keeps jumping in with the same issue on different threads from earlier today
Nothing special, just a private company has a contract with many different providers and in one application offers a large selection of services, for different destinations. Not that the local post office is bad, I've used it for 10 years, it just offers significantly more limited services. This Christmas I am not happy with NLpost and I plan to replace them with Deutschepost
The problem was fixed. I'm not sure if it's because Etsy support took the case or because I added the tracking number to the article a second time, but I chose the post operator in the recipient's country.
