Problem getting on the sell etsy app

I have a new iphone and tried to get the Etsy app opened on it. I get a screen that says: "We just sent you a code" with a place to enter a 6-digit code. But I never get the 6-digit code (does not come through as a text or email). Is Etsy sending it to me by some other means?

Probably your old phone?  It may not be recognizing your new device - and if you keep trying, it may lock your account.

It's sensing a log-in from a new device - this is a security feature.  You probably have the same phone number that was transferred to your new iphone.

I had the same issue the 6 digit code comes to the Google Authenticator App on your phone (should be installed as you need that to open the shop), as this is part of the 2 factor Authentication process. Hope this helps

Hey I had this problem...You need to go into your back offie on a desktop and go to settings and flick the toggle to say that you want to receive text messages - I hope that helps x
