Problem changing categories

I am having problems when trying to change a listing category. It is refusing to do it - even though the number of items in the category seems to update! Anyone else having the same problem?

I had the same problem so I ended up using duplicate for a sold out item that was the correct category.

Changing the category?   To change the category the item will appear in, clear out the category in the listings.  Type in the new category and the drop down should show suggestions.   It can take a bit of persistence as it once took me a couple of times to clear out the category but it did finally and I was able to list the listing in the new category.

I use a PC never the app.

Thanks. It does seem reluctant to do it - but I see it has now changed correctly. Just have to be more patient I think!

If you mean sections, there is often a bug where a listing is in one section, you change sections for the listing and the original section number goes down 1, the new section adds 1 but the listing disappears and does not show in either section for a period of time and then suddenly appears in the section it was added to. Think of it like etsy taking it off one shelf full of one kind of product making it unavailable, puts it onto a work cart and then takes the next 30 minutes walking down the aisle incredibly slow and then eventually just puts it up on a new spot on the shelf where it's available again along side a new set of products. I believe it took a whole day once when this has happened to me in the past.
