I tried following the directions listed on the help section but for some reason the "Edit" link to actually make changes is missing. What am I missing here?
Probably nothing. It is probably either an Etsy glitch or the device you are using. If you are using the new, blue app it is sorely lacking. Try a computer. IF that doesn't work, or you are already on a computer try a different browser or try clearing your cache on the current browser. I use a computer and I have found when things "disappear" my cache needs to be cleared.
Thanks PurplePuppy. I am on my computer. I cleared the cache. I tried another browser. Still there is no way to edit my bank account information.
Well, hecky darn! Hopefully someone else will come along with other ideas. I never try to contact Etsy anymore as they are about as much help as t*** on a bull!
@ForgedInFiction - When Etsy first introduced Plaid & US shops had to get verified for those wanted to change their bank account, some had to contact Etsy and request that they unlink their current bank account. The edit button, the ability to enter a new bank account wasn't there.
So you may need to contact Etsy & request that they unlink your account.
If you end up having to do this, first consider having a deposit sent to your current account. Between waiting on Plaid to make deposits if you go the manual route, being able to enter the deposits & then once the change complete the usual 5 day or so waiting period before Etsy sends your shop's funds to your new bank (due to changes being made), well that might be more time than you want to wait for your $$.
