Several days ago, as of January 11, 2023, Shop were unable to receive any payment at all.
Every customer cannot pay our shop at all. Not just some people seem to be everyone in recent days, unable to payment at all.

Would you please some one help me to see my problem about the bug at checkout and I will so appreciate if someone suggest me how this problem will be solve it .

I have the many customer to let me know that they can not to buy my items ,

it have at the error "there was a problem with your order. please try again” at the checkout.

I have tested myself from a different account and I get the same error too. When I try to purchase from another person's shop. All is fine but I and neither can my customers purchase from my store.

I found the problem since 5 days ago and also chat with Etsy support to reported the problem ,at the begging they had checked my account and said my account is fine and asked me to check with my PayPal account and yes I had checked with PayPal , they said my account is no problem which can be received money without any problem .

I have zero sales since this problem happened ,my repeated customer had tried to contact us to report the problem because they love to place the order again ,but it impossible to order it since this problem .

anyone else having this issue? Have you had this issue before? If so how was it fixed? 

I never found this problem before on my shops and I am so glad to see that there are this community that many people in the community help together . I really hope my shop will be back to sell to my customer again ,it lovely to make the product and sell it on Etsy .

yeap im getting that error message as well, (You can browse, but we're unable to process purchases at the moment. Try again in a bit.) really not great and hope this gets sorted out soon.

It's difficult to test without actually risking purchasing something. I was able to add an item to my cart okay but that's as far as I can go. You will need to Contact Etsy support directly (via the links in the shop manager) reply to the email you received and say the issue is not fixed and you need more help.

Also check that your payment card (for paying bills) has not expired.

I'm in the UK by the way.

when you look at a preview of a listing it has now started to show add to cart in the last few days for some reason, but now it showing  unable to check out at this time, i think its because they have been tinkering again and its messed things up slightly!

@SecretShopInDungeon  You may want to reach out to chat support and paypal again during normal business hours. Sellers in the forums cannot fix this issue.  What listing(s) is it?  Check  listing(s) through your Dashboard>Listing and make sure there is a "Shipping Profile" for each listing. Buyers can also reach out to chat support however it's the weekend and Monday is a holiday, so there may be a delay in doing so.

Paypal We are fine, we have checked with Paypal several times.
And we tried Paypal we can buy Etsy products and Paypal we can get paid through Email invoice and other websites.
Finally, we tried this PayPal on other Etsy stores and it works just fine.

But this store, this account has not been able to checkout for several days.

There are many stores that have problems with the Checkout system. Whether it's a shop from Turkey, UK, USA, POLAND, CANADA THAILAND, and all shops that use the ETSY PAYMENT system, they have problems with the checkout system like us.

When one of our customers contacted many Etsy supporters, Etsy eventually notified us to shop. Contact support Etsy
Can you send us the case investigation, send it to IT technical support or someone who can fix it for us?

@SecretShopInDungeon just in case this is accurate: https://community.etsy.com/t5/Technical-Issues/Buyers-Unable-To-Complete-Checkout-8-Days-No-update-f... check your name & business info. Etsy used to let people know when this was an issue, but maybe they are doing things differently now.

This is probably why my shop has so many items shown in buyer carts, but no sales.   Weird that no one has messaged me, though.  Probably because they are waiting for Etsy to resolve.

I am only seeing about 6 carts mentioned in your shop. Most people who put an item in their cart do not buy it. I can have one item in 20 carts and get no sales from that item that week.

Again, I strongly suggest you start a critique thread and get more advice on how to get more sales. There are several parts of your shop that could benefit from good advice. Good luck!
