To clarify the situation, did you print a label and ship an order and then that package has gone missing? If so, you could try and file a claim with the shipping company if you had insurance.

You can't re-print the same label because it has been used already.

You can purchase a new label to ship a replacement order and provide the new tracking number directly to the customer via a message.

No I was in treatment and foolishly had a friend keep my store open when I'm the only one that ever ran it bc I designed patent and trademark ed my line of high heel sneakers and needed income and she was trained intensely but really screwed it up so orders were taken and labels made but never shipped. I know I know but trust and believe they all are getting a free pair as well

If I understand your meaning correctly — you can't. Even if a package was lost in the mail, you have to create and pay for a new shipment to send a replacement. You can't tack it onto the original shipment and somehow pretend that they are the same.

If you want to cancel a label that hasn't been used because you will never use it, there is a way to do that but how to do it will vary depending on where you bought postage. USPS waits for a couple of weeks or before issuing a refund.

My guess is that you are past your ship date.

Here:
https://help.etsy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001968348-How-to-Print-a-Shipping-Label?segment=selling
It says:
You can download and print a shipping label as often as necessary, until the Ship Date for the order.

If that's the case, you need to refund the original label and create a new one:

Hey this may help, my printer ran out of ink on a batch, by the time I got the ink replaced my option to reprint was gone. I solved this by pulling up my browser history and finding the labels generated by etsy in my history from there it just reopened the downloaded label page and I reprinted from there. I am using Microsoft edge but would assume most browsers have this option...
