Previous Period Star Seller Calculated Incorrectly Resulting in No Badge for June 2022

Per Etsy's recommendation, I'm bringing my issue here in hopes that I can get some resolution.

 

I was right on track to receive the Star Seller badge for the month of June but Etsy had marked 4 of my orders as late despite them being dispatched on time. I did have 2-3 orders that were rightfully marked late but the other 4 should have been on-time. Because of this, I did not receive my Star Seller badge for June.

 

The orders were all under $15 and didn't require tracking. Please help resolve this so I can receive my badge.

Were those orders under $10, which is actually the threshold for tracking?

Canada's tracking threshold for star seller is CA$15.

There is no threshold for US$ orders, all orders must have tracking for star seller.

The blurb on my Dashboard says $10 outside the US (I know it doesn't apply here in the US). I didn't check OP's location (but assumed she was outside the US) or look up the requirement, other than on the SSP dashboard.

Dumb. It should give the threshold, especially when I wouldn't have a clue what "equivalent" US$10 would be in £. (it's £8. our threshold is £10, so it's wrong info anyway)

Yes, apologies for not clarifying. I have already reached out to Etsy CS, they advised me to post in here.

 

And yes, I am in Canada. The rule here for Star Seller is tracking for all orders over $15.

@opalcovecreations @It just sounds like they are passing the buck by sending you to the forums.  We are just other sellers.  We can’t fix anything for you.

What is Etsy thinking?  This is the second post I have seen today where Etsy is sending people here like we can fix things.

See my post below. Etsy live chat and phone call back support (the call center folks) are sending sellers her because the Help Center directs sellers to post in this forum for help with the star seller issues.

It's interesting that Etsy keeps sending sellers here to ask questions that can't be solved by us at all. Etsy CS can look at CSVs to see what actually happened -- we cannot. All we can do is reiterate the rules, which CS should have done already.

I agree - they made it sound like Etsy staff would reach out if we posted in the forums. Very misleading and exceedingly disappointed in the service we receive as sellers.

Was it a live chat or phone call back support person who directed you here? If so it's because they aren't actual etsy employees and many have no clue how etsy even works. They are well known for giving completely incorrect information. They work from a script and are only allowed to handle the most basic issues, most of which are already covered in the help center. The help center also directs sellers to the forums, this forum specifically for help with star seller issues. That's likely why they are telling people to post here.

scroll a bit until you see the video then look right below that. They even highlighted it in greyish color. 

"Etsy Support can’t make changes to your Star Seller data or manually award Star Seller badges. If you think your Star Seller score was calculated incorrectly, you can let us know in the Technical Issues forum ."

Clearly someone forgot to tell them that they changed this forum to a peer to peer support forum a couple years ago.

It's almost laughable how inconsistent they are with all things support and help around here. If it wasn't so frustrating it would be laughable.

Did you ship within your processing time frame?  Did any have tracking and did that tracking start immediately after it was accepted at your post office.  Late shipping will ding badly.  And if the other had tracking but were not accepted by the post office immediately then that gets a ding as well.   Did you buy the shipping label on Etsy?  That seems to be the other half of the requirement if there is no tracking.
