Possible issue with Etsy app

Hey!

So we have had a buyer contact us saying they are having issues buying for our shop. They kindly sent us screen shots over and to be honest we were a little dumfounded as we have not seen this issue before. Firstly it would not add to basket, and then if it did manage to go in the backet any of the drop downs that they chose on the listing were not carried through and it wouldnt let them select options again. 

After a little bit of investigation we worked out it seems to be happening with the app. Desktop is fine. So we directed the seller to the desktop and within minutes their order was placed HURRAH! 

HOWEVER!!! We went to log a call with Etsy and this was their response:

So if anyone is having issues then this might explain it, but hopefully if it is a longer term issue then some notification will go out! However it appears Etsy are going to rely on buyers reaching out in the first instance which not all might.

There wasn't any personal information in what was provided - so I don't see how this wouldn't be useful to the community, especially given that the problem is still present today and there is no reference anywhere from Etsy as to whether this is a problem that is being worked on.

Can we perhaps focus on that, instead given the probable loss of revenue at a key time of year?
