Dear Seller, you are welcomed by Etsy technical support. Your shop is temporarily unable to accept new orders, To restore the shop and see new orders in your profile, please write your [E-MΠ°ΡL] address in the chat. You will be sent a notification where you can complete a simple vΠ΅rΡfΡΡΠ°tΡΠΎn.
Regards, Etsy.
Definitely a scam. i set my shop up 2 days ago and i have over 40 of them already. messages from etsy appear in their own section 'from etsy'
scammers everywhere.
This scam has been going around since July. Here's how you tell (despite all the red flags already there): Look at the "from etsy" section of your inbox. You have to use a computer or through the browser, not the app. If it's not there (hint: IT'S NOT), then it is fake.
Mark this message as spam and ignore it. Etsy doesn't need your email; they already have it. Look at your shop: it's open for business as usual. They are preying on you.
Any time etsy needs any ID or financial information from you, it will be ON YOUR DASHBOARD.
Skim through the forums and familiarize yourself with common scams before you lose $$$$$$.
Total scammer. Search the forums for the threads about protecting yourself from scammers. Meanwhile, just mark the message as spam.
Absolutely a scam. The other replys explain it.
Etsy knows your name, your email, all of your info. This one is an ongoing scam message.
And be advised you will probably get a LOT more of them in the same or similar vein. IF you can't decide if it is real AFTER checking your dashboard>from Etsy file then please come here and ask!
Etsy would never "regards" anyone lol. Scam. Don't engage.
Also, look at the font for "email" they are trying to get around the spam filter bots.

Its a scam, any genuine message from Etsy will be in the "from Etsy" folder within your messages, which is only visible using a web browser to view messages, not the seller app. Mark the message as spam and ignore it. Do not engage with them.
It's a SCAM. Why would Etsy ask for your email? They wouldn't.
Notice the scammer spelled email differently [E-MΠ°ΡL] with upper and lower case and maybe different fonts to avoid detection by Etsy's bots.

They do seem to be targeting new shops *especially* (well.... a lot anyway). Just hit spam with these bogus messages. Truly, it does get better!
