Hi Everyone,
After reviewing some orders placed between Tuesday (04/15) and today (04/16), I noticed that there were some price discrepancies. The products purchased had price variations. Either the buyer was overcharged (with us having to issue a refund), or the buyer underpaid for the item (with us incurring a loss).
As a result, we've had to put the shop on vacation temporarily until we can review all our listings. So far, only a few orders were affected.
As a precautionary measure, please check your listing prices if you have product variations.
Best wishes and much success to all of you!
I just had the same thing happen to me , I just checked , my money clip was the old price that I had not has since last 2 years . I noticed it on the order page and went and saw that the price reverted back to whatever it was several years ago , thus I am out of that money , that is not cool
Hi folks,
Thank you for your reports here. I've referred them for investigation. If you have an open support ticket on this issue, could you please reply to it with the affected listing ID (or IDs), and any actions you took in editing the listing?
I can't check your prices. Your shop is on vacation.
Mine look fine.
Yes, our shop is on vacation mode while we work to review and correct the pricing issue for some of our product listings.
We've contacted Etsy support to report the issue or glitch with managing product listings.
Maybe our shop was only affected…
We just wanted to raise awareness for other shop owners to check their prices and recent orders.
@ivolvebeauty Your shop is on vacation mode.
My prices are fine.
Your shop is on vacation so we cannot see if there is price variation.
If you ship internationally, there will be price differences as VAT may be included.

Thank you so much for sharing this.
We experienced a glitch or bug with the Listings Manager. Under 'Manage Variations,' the option for the 'Prices' was automatically deselected, when it should have been active.
We've always had the price variation option activated; somehow it was turned off.
Are you editing/managing your shop using a browser or the seller app?
We manage our shop through a web browser by desktop, and only use the seller app to receive order notifications.
Both.
I have the same issue. Prices with variation all have same price. ( lower of the amount) and wrong at that. Looks like it’s been going on for a couple days at least…losing revenue here. Hate to deactivate these listing. Did you ever hear from Etsy?
Sorry you've been experiencing the same issue. Etsy support provided info from their help desk, but it wasn't very helpful in our situation.
Basically it's a matter of reviewing each of the product listings and ensuring that the prices with variations aren't all the same price.
We had to deactivate a few listings, but got everything corrected.
did you find a solution?
or you have to do all the work manually?
Just noticed this in my shop, prices showing in the shop as normal but if i click on edit the listing the prices have all gone and are just showing one prices for all three necklaces. Whats to stop this transerring to the main shop? I go on holiday on Friday for a week and was thinking of just extending my shipping times, now im thinking holiday mode because there is no way i can put this right if im on holiday for a week.
I hate holiday mode because it can destroy a shop. Anyone else use holiday mode and recovered well when they got back?
Hi
did you find any solution?
@Dexcy Possibly when i go into editing now the prices seem to be back to normal, so fingers crossed theyve sorted it.
Lucky you:)
I still have the same problem...
Thank you for the update
Just received an order for a listing with price variations. The price of the item that was sold is 54 Euro, the buyer paid 46 Euro for it(the lowest price in the listing). I checked the listing after I found out about the error and the price of the bought item is 54 Euro.
I had the problem with price variations diapering when I try to edit a listing for the last couple of days. but the above is a much bigger problem.

I bet there is no hope that etsy will fix it...
theyre too busy changing shop manager look... which is terrible...
I discovered this issue about 2 weeks ago. It only affects listings with 2 variation menus. Everything in the listing looks fine, but if you make any changes to it and save it, the price variations go into the void.
The solution is... a bucket of coffee, some light music + some nerve pills and a lot of manual work. Luckily my store is pretty much lost to AI right now, so I just finished editing all the affected listings.
I have 2500 listings in my shop , most have variations ....
yeah, sounds simple, just check my prices on 400+ listings with anywhere rom 3 to 20 different price points per listing OR solution #2 maybe Etsy can proof their changes before they implement.
I was able to get ahold of Etsy. Try telling them something like "During an update to either the code or the database the bit value indicating whether or not there is a price variation on my listings got reset to "off/zero". The listings defaulted to the lowest variation price. The affected listings that caused a loss in revenue were" and then go on to detail the listings numbers, the order numbers for anything that caused a loss, the date of the last sale and order number that the variation prices were correct (if applicable) and your total loss of revenue for all the orders placed without variation pricing.
You will need to correct the listings yourself at this point. Etsy had no solution to correct it for me.
Just realised this has happened to me. Looks like around 2 weeks ago the prices of one of my best selling items were changed without my knowledge and I am now almost £200 out of pocket, furious! Has anyone managed to get anything out of Etsy?
I really appreciate reading about these hiccups so as a seller I am aware. THANK YOU!
