Plaid asking for consent to access our bank account statements.

Did you all read the user agreement with Plaid? They are asking us to consent to give them access to our bank statements! Why?

Plaid is a third-party processor. Either sign up or Etsy will suspend or close shops. Use the manual so you don't have to give out your password. All you have to do is put your check numbers. And Plaid is used by thousands and thousands of banks and other institutions.

Use the manual verification option.  It requires no more information or access than you would hand over when paying a bill with a check.

Thank you. I was caught off guard when the consent policy came up. Does not seem right to ask me to consent to share information about my bank statements.
