Is this a glitch or a normal built-in delay with Plaid?
Yesterday, after jumping through all the hoops to verify manually, I typed in both small deposits correctly, and landed on a page saying I was verified successfully. But today, when I click on Update bank details in my Etsy Payment settings, I'm told I'm "not connected yet," and the "Connect your account via Plaid" button is back.
Is anybody else having this happen?

You can request a call back from Etsy. Something doesn't sound right.
For call backs you can go through Shop Manager>Community & Help>Contact Us>Selling on Etsy>Deposits>I Still Need Help>... Call backs are 7a.m. to 9pm eastern time.
I got my two deposits and entered them in order, and it keeps saying something is wrong, try again later. This is so ridiculous.
I have the same issue. Jumped through the hoops, entered the deposit amounts, says account is verified, but keeps telling me I’m not connected and time is running out to verify. Sorry but I’m not happy and don’t have time to have to contact Etsy. The other system seemed completely fine, now I’m not going to get paid using my account?
Unless the messages still telling you to verify are glitches, you're going to have to make the time to contact Etsy. Other sellers cannot check your bank account information here. Have you actually missed a payment deposit yet?
Thank you for your response. I realize other sellers cannot check my information, I’m just frustrated with having to do this. And, no, I have not missed a payment deposit. I will contact Etsy as soon as I am able. It’s nice to know that I’m not the only one at least! Thank you again.
Same here! Did the manual bank link to Plaid. Confirmed two small deposits. Keep getting warnings that my account will be suspended and that I need to confirm my deposit amounts from Plaid. "Account for payouts" indicates "not connected yet" but when clicking the "enter deposit amounts" button, a message from Plaid pops up "already verifies". I am stuck in this impossible loop. Emailed for support twice already with no response!! The only way to contact Etsy is email. No phone, no chat, no human contact. And NO REPLY TO EMAIL. Frustrated with no solution in sight. Anyone experienced this? with resolution?? Thanks.
@PaintedChuppah So sorry you're still having that problem. My other shop was suspended after I bungled the deposit amounts twice. Emailed support and finally got a response, "talked" to 6 or 7 different reps, and one of them (or more) cleared my previous attempts and reinstated my shop. After that I was able to start over with Plaid and had no more issues getting verified.
Tip: In my original email to support, I said "URGENT" in the subject box.
