When a potential customer selects my shop and wants to view any item, they only get part of the first items picture. Etsy is overlaying my first picture with a "find similar items" at the bottom of the picture which hides a good part of my last line. My first picture is very important and allows the customer to see everything in the item, now they can't. Also if they miss hit my item with their finger they can select the "find similar items" and it immediately takes them away from my shop.
This doesn't happen on my desk top shop and I think it shouldn't happen on my mobile. Does Etsy have the right to overlay my pictures with something I have paid for. If I don't want this I should be able to eliminate it
I also don't like this new "find similar products" function.
I pay for Etsy Ads, and as soon as the customer comes to my product page, they can go to another store without even reading the description. In other words, I am sending a customer to another store with my own money.
When I analyze Google Analytics, desktop customers stay in my store for an average of 2:34 minutes, while mobile app users stay for only 30 seconds. I believe that customers visiting my store with the mobile app have a short visit time for two reasons;
1. "find similar items" option.
2. The product description is at the very bottom of the page. Until the product description, customers must pass 19 different pieces of information in 14 lines.
Additional information about Google Analytics report: Mobile app users have a higher Bounce Rate and fewer pages they visit.
