Photos not showing on multi listing with variations

Etsy have mucked up all my listing photos that were linked to individual items in variations:

I had the accurate photo for each number showing when you click the drop down menu. Now they are ALL missing in ALL my Etsy shops, so obviously and Etsy glitch. Not amused, after I spend hours trying to get listings perfect. No wonder no one is buying anything. (More editing work as well as having to amend all shipping on hundreds of items as not using Royal Mail anymore.... urgh!)

I see all the photos in the listing but they don't look like they are linked to the variation. Definitely don't change for me when I choose a variation. While very annoying, this feature wasn't always available so might not impact as much if you only have a few variations and everything is clearly numbered/labelled in the photos.
