It seems like there is a new problem almost on a daily basis anymore. Etsy needs to change things for the better instead of for the worst. Leave us alone.
I was so relieved to see this thread, I was like nooooo when I noticed! I agree @roofandroost - it looks hideous. Praying for a quick fix on this for everyone!
While fixing the images, please address the video requirement for each listing (get rid of it!), and the ability to move from page to page on the bottom of each shop page. For that last item, just cut and paste the HTML from the bottom of the Listings page to the Shop page. Then we can move to whatever page we need. It makes sense to make it easy for buyers to buy and sellers to sell. *sigh* Edit to add: I'm working on adding a video that works on all listings that have no video to date. Whatever works....
When I logged into my shop this morning, all of my photos are squeezed. Instead of being circles (I sell altered CDs) they are now ovals! Is anyone else having this problem? Did Etsy change something? Do I have to go back and change 180 photos?
Yes, first they zoomed in too close now they look squished on the sides. Do they want square or rectangular photos now? I can't keep up!! Etsy continually emphasizes how important photos are, yet they screw with the thumbnail which is most important in search viewing, just horrible!! I've been trying to adjust photos & re-upload photos in both my shops, what a waste of time!!
