I don't even know what to say about this....we pay for our listings & if there is a technical problem that completely distorts our photos and could drive away business from our shops we should be notified about it by Etsy. And updated about the resolution in real time.
I agree. This isn't fair that we pay for a service and they take liberties without letting us know...like we have to just figure it out. I know I wouldn't purchase from a seller who appears to not care about the way their shop looks, which is how it looks for me right now. Every photo is stretched out and looks horrible.
Hopefully not one of those issues that "Needs to affect a larger segment of users" to get fixed! Everyone's shop looking like a carnival funny mirrors sideshow.
i've just tried to contact a seller about a problem with an order and even the images i was going to send with the message were distorted, so i guess i'll have to wait...
I had to look at that listing...yeah, that is ridiculous!! They do look like shorts... Some of your photos look like they were lengthened and some look like they were widened...
Yep, mine are squished too! Oh brother! Now what???? Are they changing the dimensions again? I hope they don't expect us to redo all our photos. Plus, along with making videos since they planted that intrusive "this listing doesn't have a video just yet" slot in all our photos. Yes Etsy, we have all the time in the world to keeping resizing our photos and making videos.
