What is going on with photo editing? It usually takes quite a few attempts to enlarge/position/center the thumbnail photo of a new listing before it actually sticks. This has been a problem since Etsy rolled out it's new seller platform. SO FRUSTRATING!!!
It used to correct itself after awhile but the listings I did a day ago (and whic are still in draft) are still off, no matter what I try. It looks awful and I really don't want to send them live looking like this. This really needs to be addressed because clearly something is broken.
EDIT: Would you believe I am creating listings right now, to be saved in draft, and it appears the thumbnails are saving ok? I tried to correct the ones from yesterday and no bueno unfortunately.
What seems to work for me (today) is removing the thumbnail from yesterdays listings and putting it back, now it seems to do what I want. Not ideal but better than what it was.
Unfortunately the ones I 'fixed' last night have reverted to their unusable state
I still have listings to create and send to draft but it feels almost senseless if I potentially have to rework them afterwards. I might create them anyway since I have time alotted for that right now... Not good!
There are a few other posts about this same issue already. A few of us have been told that the Technical team is aware and they are working on it. What that means or when we'll hear anything back is anyone's guess though.
I've been having this issue all week the thumbnails are just the full height of the image all the way over to the left of the image no matter how i edit them. hoping it will be fixed by next week i have a lot of new phoyos and stock to list and it looks awful and is a big time waster
Thumbnails are not working at all today. It is impossible to save the cropping/positioning of your thumbnail.
Could you edit the photo on your PC before you upload it? I have never tried editing after uploading.
