Phishing or not from Etsy support

Hello, it is the second time or third time I received messages that look like a hacker phishing attempts. It is asking me to reply with my email address in the chat. It says that an order cannot go through.

Is it real or not?

Maybe Etsy should disable chatr until they can make it spammer proof

Etsy chat is spammer proof,

they have to click on the link in the message, and it takes them off etsy, then a chat box opens up.
It's not etsy chat.

They just need to read that big orange box, before they click it off saying they have read it , if they don't click it off, it comes up under every single message warning them.

You should have red the orange message on your messages, before clicking it off, for it to go away

It tells you, that if the message is from etsy, it will also be in the "From Etsy" folder  on the left hand side, if it's not there, it's not from etsy

In case you clicked 'got it' and the warning disappeared for good ...

How to spot and report scams in Messages

If you get a suspicious message asking you to leave our site to share personal info or complete orders, make sure to mark it as spam. Keep in mind:

• Buyers never need your email to purchase an item.
• Real messages from Etsy always have a badge or "Etsy staff" label.
• Etsy Support won't call you unless you've requested a call from our Help Center.

How to Handle Scams and Suspicious Messages

Authentic messages from Etsy always appear in a From Etsy inbox and are clearly labeled "From Etsy" below the subject line. If someone claims to be an Etsy employee and the message is not located in the From Etsy folder, mark the message as spam and don't reply.
