I’m having an ongoing issue with business verification on Etsy Payments due to a sync problem between Payoneer and Etsy.
My details are correct in Payoneer.
When Etsy pulls the data, it changes the state and generates an incorrect ZIP code.
Etsy also shows “Primary Taxpayer ID: No information on file”, but this field is for EU VAT numbers and doesn’t apply in my case. My taxpayer ID already appears correctly in the “Additional taxpayer ID” field.
I’ve opened multiple tickets with Etsy Support. They told me this would be escalated after 48h, but it has now been 12 days with no answer, even after I sent numerous emails and screenshots.
This is preventing me from operating my shop, and I’m very dissatisfied with the lack of response.
Has anyone else experienced this Payoneer–Etsy sync problem? How did you get Etsy to actually escalate or resolve it?

Where are you located? Zip codes are only for the US and those shops don't use Payoneer.
I'm in Brazil, I cannot modify any information manually because my Etsy account is linked to Payoneer.
I am experiencing a similar problem. My name information from Payonia has been repeatedly listed only by the trade name twice, causing a discrepancy with my personal ID. Regarding this, I checked with Payonia and asked Etsy for support, but still only the same e-mail is repeatedly arriving.
I think I've read somewhere that there's some privacy regulation that don't allow Etsy to disclose exactly what document is missing, as consequence we need to guess what they are requesting when sending this standard e-mail which are not helpful at all....

Since you are hiding your location on your shop home page we can only infer that you are in the United States due to your reference to ZIP Code™ which is only used in the United States. If that is the case, then Payoneer is not a valid option.
Or are you in Brazil as your Seller Details says?

I'm in Brazil, so the only way to operate with Etsy is through Payoneer. I cannot modify any information manually because Etsy’s system pulls it directly from Payoneer.
The problem is that on Payoneer’s side everything is correct, but it’s being reflected differently on Etsy. I opened my shop, and it went directly into vacation mode as if some legal information were missing.
What’s extremely frustrating is the loooooonnnnnngggg response time from Etsy. Every time they reply, it’s like solving a riddle — they paste a standard email with several links to unhelpful content. They don’t answer directly, like saying “We need your personal ID.” Instead, they send the same email over and over again, repeating the same useless links.
Those links — to articles like “How to Verify Your Seller Information for Etsy Payments” or “How to Update Your Legal Name and Taxpayer Information” — don’t apply either to Payoneer account holders or to the Brazilian reality. One of these articles even shows which documents are eligible for many countries, but never Brazil.
So I’ve been desperate since 09/18/2025, trying to figure out Etsy’s crazy riddle and start working!
