@Cheapermark  Etsy doesn’t need your bank number it already has it.  This is a scammer pretending to be Etsy.

There is a “From Etsy” folder under messages.  All messages that are really from Etsy will also appear in the “From Etsy” folder.  If a message is NOT in the “From Etsy” folder, then it is NOT from Etsy.  It is from a scammer pretending to be Etsy so they can steal your money.

Also, all orders will appear IMMEDIATELY in your shop dashboard.  After your first sale, it will say “1 sale” under your shop name on your shop page.  It does not say that right now, so I know you have no orders.

@Cheapermark: Of we understand what you mean correctly, It is NOT an order - real orders will show up on your Orders & Shipping page and your Payments page.

It probably is a SCAM - you might want to read the excellent post by @bradgoodell  in https://community.etsy.com/t5/Managing-Your-Shop/How-to-Spot-a-Scam-No-a-Buyer-Doesn-t-Need-Your-Ema... and https://community.etsy.com/t5/Technical-Issues/Why-do-they-ask-me-for-my-e-mail-in-order-to-make-a-p...

There is also official information from Etsy at https://help.etsy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000343128-How-to-Handle-Spam-and-Suspicious-Messages?segm...

Real messages from Etsy are now going into their own section on your messages page https://community.etsy.com/t5/Announcements/New-From-Etsy-section-in-Messages/m-p/143722497#M1899

If you have not already done so, you may want to read https://help.etsy.com/hc/en-us/articles/115015710308-What-to-Do-After-You-Sell-an-Item?segment=selli... for an overview how orders work for sellers.

Be sure to mark the message as SPAM so that it does not affect your stats.

Have you given these fraudsters your bank account details and they have stolen your money?
Then you need to contact your bank and the fraud department in your country

After you‘ve done that, you should read this article from the Etsy Seller Handbook:
Handmade Policy https://www.etsy.com/legal/handmade/?ref=list

Your listing, which can be found on several other sites, may not be sold here on Etsy.

You have no orders,

If someone has asked for your bank details, or card information, through etsy messages, it's a phishing scam,

all etsy messages are in the "from etsy" folder, if they are not there, they are not from etsy

contact your bank and card provider NOW

....

you are a target for scammers, as you are a new shop, that does not have legal policies, or are selling things allowed to be sold here, so the scammers think you are an easy target
