PayPal is not appearing as a payment method in my shop

Good morning,

I’ve noticed that PayPal is not appearing as a payment method in my shop, even though I am registered for Etsy Payments. I’ve seen in another section of the forum that I’m not the only one experiencing this issue, and suggested to write here in "technical issues" the problem. Is there a way to fix it? PayPal is available in my country (Italy), but on the shop management page, there is no option to add any payment methods. It has automatically selected that I accept Visa, Mastercard, and Etsy gift cards.

You are not in control of the payment options provided to the customer. I am not sure why you only have the cards available but there are several issues with the legality of your shop, so not sure if that could affect the availability of the payment options provided.

Maybe start a thread asking for information in Critique

I also have the same problem. I don't have PayPal as a payment method in my store, I have a verified bank account, my country is supported by Etsy payments, I think everything in my store is filled correctly, but no one can give me an answer why the PayPal payment method is missing. My store is 1 month old, I don't know if this has any effect...

I see PayPal as an option in your shop so it s not missing. Maybe that is why no one can answer your question because what you are saying is not correct?

Wonder if it is location based, I do not get the paypal option when adding your item to the cart, it is greyed out

You have PayPal as an option for me.  But since you appear to be selling illegal counterfeits, maybe that is why you can’t see it?

Interesting.. maybe it is location based or device based. I am using the app on my iPad and I see it.  If everyone is not seeing, that is a problem. I hope they fix it soon.

I am using chrome on my desktop (in UK) and both shops only have cards and google pay available

I see no PayPal available in either shop once I add an item to my cart.
