Hi, I have been trying now for 10 days for support from etsy in regards to my pattern site. nobody seems to answer?? the chat says someone will be available in 3-4 days, this is everyday the same message.. any ideas on who can help me? I also sent 3 emails but no response, this is very bad. I reconnected my pattern site, but I cannot access it, as it says the site cannot be reached, 10 days now, any help would be appreciated, thanks Phillip
I would start your own actual website instead of Pattern which is connected to Etsy. It is very simple to do (Shopify or Wix for example) and you will have much more freedom to do what you want and not incur the same level of fees. Plus I am sure customer service on these other platforms is great but I have never needed to use them which says something about how easy and reliable these other sites are.
Sellers have been complaining about Pattern for years now. It hasn't been supported for years either. Put ''Pattern not supported'' into the forum search box and you'll find page after page of OPs complaining about the problems with Pattern and lack of support. Checking the dates of some of those OPs will be surprising. So don't hold your breath waiting for a response.
Thank you, well it was all working before I deactivated it a few weeks ago, but I just reactivated it and this problem occurred, thanks anyway. I just want my own website

Thank you, much appreciated!
Shopify is great and you would be surprised at how many customers you will get over time that despise Exxy. There is a whole world out there that doesn't come here..
@PhillipJGordonArt I have a website through WIX. Someday I will sell through that website, but for now I have photos of my work and when someone clicks on them there, they are brought to the item here in my Etsy shop.
In the same boat. I left for Shopify, but after dismal support and spending gazillions in advertising I decided to come back to Pattern where I was at least selling something. Now my SSL certificate doesn’t work. Trying to get help and been promised someone will email……but zip. The lights are on but no one’s home. I’ve noticed this became prevalent when AI and the bots came about.
@JudysJewelryBasket Did you ever get any help? I decided to reactivate my Pattern site to try to make it easier to sell low quantity and older inventory to customers at lower prices and I can't get anyone to email me, either. We are actually paying for a service, so we should be able to use it, but I have not gotten an email, either. I know everyone keeps saying get your own website, but I was trying to not have to pay a bunch of money anymore. My old Pattern site used to be a decent option. The customer service sent me to an external "customer service" claiming they were the Pattern help, and it was an external company not affiliated with Etsy in any way. I don't even know how that is legal. I didn't put any information into the site, but wondering what kind of scam Etsy customer service sent me to! And yes, it was definitely Etsy... I was using the option straight in Etsy from my dashboard. Scary they let the customer service people link to a random site like that! I just wanted them to fix the SSL certificate.
It took them a full week plus part of day 8 to fix the SSL, but I had to contact them three times. No emails were ever sent. I never found out why I was originally sent to a totally different company for help... the pattern site just miraculously worked after the 3rd time speaking with someone. I'm glad it was only a week.... it could have been much, much longer... but if anyone gets here for the same reason, DO NOT go to an external site for help. It absolutely needs to be done through Etsy only.
