Pattern has not worked for close to a year.
Clients cannot use any drop-down menu or add- to- cart to purchase.
No attempt to solve this issue has been addressed until yesterday when we received the following saying there are no issues.
I see many forum statements claiming there are issues.
Etsy wants us to respond in the forum which is what I am doing as the HELP chat bubble on our account is also not and has not been working for months.
Please add to this forum if you are experiencing issues with Pattern.
There was a link in the body of yesterday's response to another company.
Thanks, Robert Aucoin

Investigating
We are currently experiencing an issue with Pattern by Etsy sites and are investigating.
First not a good idea to quote anything from an Etsy email. Just not good in the forums.
Etsy really no longer supports Pattern.
If you used chat they have little knowledge about Pattern and send people here to the forums which we can offer little help.
Stick to email and reply back that you still need help.
'Frankly my choice would be to get a website someplace else and not use Pattern. Etsy has not supported it in several years since they disbanded the team that took care of it. I gave up on Pattern long ago.
Are they still making you pay for it?
Maybe it's time to think of moving to another website?
Pattern briefly had dedicated support when in was new some years back which ended rather quickly. And even then it had problems which weren't resolved. Now, Etsy seems to allow the Pattern program to continue for sellers who use it. It is not really supported nor updated.I wouldn't be surprised if Etsy stopped supporting it completely at one point. Sellers in the forums obviously can't fix issues on Etsy's end. But, this is free customer service for Etsy. A paid website service must have dedicated support.
There are many website builders who do support and update their sites where Etsy listings can also be downloaded. It may be worth looking into some of these? A few I can think of off the top of my head: Shopify, Indimade, Godaddy, Squarespace, Wix, Weebly, BigCommerce.
I'm confused what you mean by this? You do realize that Pattern isn't free and should have support if it's not working?
Up until a couple of months ago, I was using Pattern and getting orders that included variations, so it does work sometimes. Have you tried a different theme? Not all themes work the same and some have known issues. That would definitely be where I'd start. I was using the Swatch theme.
You might be able to find some help here:

And this is specifically about different themes having issues:

I would not have recommended pattern when they were supporting it. Since they have ignored it for years and not updated it or fixed bugs I would say avoid at all costs. Websites need support, updates, and bugs fixed. Not to mention it's tied to your etsy shop (huge issue if they freeze your funds or suspend your shop).
Sorry you've been dealing with bugs but this may be your sign to find a real website host. I personally think it's wrong for them to take money monthly for it and offer no support.
I had a Pattern site a few years ago. I had quite a few problems with it regarding themes/fonts/appearance etc. I put a few support tickets in and was basically told (quite rudely) that Etsy prioritises technical issues "based on their impact on our marketplace". Needless to say, I deleted it pretty soon after.
