I have all of my package preferences set up and when I went in to ship something today most if not all of them were not shown in the drop down when purchasing a label. I looked under Settings => Shipping Settings => Package Preference and they are ALL listed there but they are NOT there when I go to purchase a label - Where did they go?????
Package Preferences are not for selecting box size when you print a label. They are for calculated shipping to use in determining the size of the box for calculating the shipping. They have never shown in the label process as choices for the seller. Preferences explained here:

This is correct - I believe @SewStephStudios is looking for the label presets, which you can save/ set up on the label page.
You will find Package preference under Settings => Shipping settings and under the tab package preference. Here is what it says about package preferences:
Package preferences
Print shipping labels faster by saving the details for packaging you use frequently. If you use calculated shipping, we'll use this info to determine the shipping prices you charge buyers. You can choose Flat Rate or Regional Rate preferences or create your own. Add a package fee for the cost of packing materials or additional shipping weight.
I have added a lot of my own and also have Regional Rate packages. When I went to ship an order they all used to appear under the drop down for package type.
They always shown for me, now they are gone, where is USPS A Box and B box?
@SandCastlesAndSpurs USPS is ending all Regional Boxes as of January 22.
"This item will be discontinued January 22, 2023. Packages shipped using these boxes will be treated as weight and rate effective January 22. The recommended alternative is Priority Mail Cubic."
No, when you click on Get Shipping labels for a sale it opens the dialogue box where you set the ship date and the Package Type. Prior to today I was able to select ANY of the package types that I have in my Package Preferences. Now it only lists a few USPS options. I ship many sizes of priority and today it only allowed Flat Rate Small, Med, or Large. I have other size of priority boxes in my package preferences and they do not show up - WHY?
You can't use Regional rate boxes anymore. I think Etsy removed them a couple days early..they were supposed to poof the 22nd but whatever. USPS did away with Regional rate service. Probably had to do with the 22nd being a Sunday. They didn't want people buying them over the weekend and not be able to use them on Monday.
Hmmm that might be so but why did all of my other package sizes disappear?
My guess would be in the usual Etsy fashion when they removed the regional rates other things poofed too.
@SewStephStudios: The USPS has announced that they are discontinuing Priority Mail Regional Rate Boxes A and B effective January 22, 2023. These boxes will no longer be produced by the USPS and the current Priority Mail Regional Rate pricing will no longer apply.
Well how about a Priority box that measures 12.25 x 12.25 x 8.5. I have entered this size priority box in my package preferences but I cannot see it any longer. I guess the work around will be to say I am using my own packaging even though it is from usps or to go to pirate ship.
Label presets are not working properly... can not add new label presets and can not delete label presets- am I the only one?
@SewStephStudios Here is another Thread with the same issue re: label presets.

Ok well for now I am going to look on Pirate Ship before I buy any label from Etsy. Oi Vey! At least I know I am not going CRAZY!!! Thank you
I found this article:
"Knowing sellers might wish to continue using the Regional Rate boxes they had in stock rather than having to dispose of them, we asked the USPS spokesperson if that would be allowed. The answer: yes. “After January 22, 2023, customers can continue to use these boxes at the Priority Mail rate based on weight and zone,” he said."
