PLEASE can some help me

I'm on the verge of tears, seriously.

My shop was inactive during Covid, and now I wanted to try start selling again, and just started working on the shop and suddenly got a message telling me that my account has been suspended...
I have no idea why - I didn't violate any policy, I don't owe any money, and I haven't even started uploading the new products!
Etsy didn't give me the reason for the suspension, and I haven't received any email about this.
I'm at a loss. I don't know what to do, because I don't know WHY it got suspended, or even if it's a temporary or permanent suspension.
I don't know who to turn to, there's no mail address to write to!
I searched the FAQ for an answer and didn't find any.
PLEASE help me understand what happened and how to fix this.

Unfortunately no one in the forums are going to be able to help you with this one as we'd only be guessing.    You need to contact Etsy support and follow what they say that needs to be fixed - whether that's updating your ID with them, etc.

There is a link at the bottom of this page under the seller handbook to  get a ticket # or in some countries, you can do a live chat and open a request.

Did you check your CC to see if it was expired? Is all your information current? ID, etc?

since it became difficult to find the links for help, i’ve collected links where sellers mentioned they found help options.  i hope one of these will work for you:

here is the link to the “how to contact support” from the seller’s handbook.

here is a link to initiate chat or email.

here is the link to request a callback.

or try this link or this link to email them.

if you do email them you *should* get an automated reply and once you do, you must reply to that email above the line of asterisks that their automated best guess solutions did not work. all you have to say is something like “i still need help” send the reply, and it should stay active.

Thank you both. I'm not a native English speaker and it's so difficult for me to read and understand pages and pages of what seems to me as recorsive links that point to eachother...

Thank you moonbeamgifts - I will try the seller handbook. And Thanks OneEyeCatStudio - my CC actually did expire and I probably need to update it... Didn't even think about that.
I'll try both your suggestions and hope something helps...

Sorry this happened to you. My shop was put on vacation by Etsy 6 weeks ago for a simple re-load of my Dr's Licence and I did this the same day I was notified. Guess what- my shop is still in vacation mode and they have not responded to any of my messages? Way to outdo themselves on customer service or help for their sellers?  My guess is unless you PAY them for ads or are selling items well over $100 each - You won't get any response or help- Etsy does not care about its sellers and sadly without sellers - who are most of their buyers, they won't have much of a business going into a 2022 to 2023 inflation. I shop and buy A LOT $$$$$ on Etsy and will no longer buy from other seller's on this platform, since I know they get a percentage of the sales- which sadly hurts the sellers. SAD.

I can only imagine how frustrating that is. And you feel like you have no one to talk to. So much for "keeping commerce human"... 

Thank god we got each other here. I don't know what I would have done without this  amazing community of sellers.

Thank you. I don't even know what that is, but apparently this is the solution...

I just found out that this is the reason my account got suspended...

Just wanted to update you all that I think the mystery was solved! Apparently my account was suspended until I enroll in Etsy Payments... Now I just need to learn what that is hehe and hope they cancel the suspension.

And another update for everyone, just for the closure and for anyone else this might help - PROBLEM OFFICIALY SOLVED!!

This indeed was the issue, and I've just completed the process of enrolling in Etsy Payments and my suspension was lifted. 

And again - thank you all from the bottom of my heart. This community is absolutely amazing.

It is mandatory in your country, so there's not much to investigate.

Open shop in different selling platforms. Etsy isn't selling anything these days anyway.

It seems within the realm of reason that when Etsy suspends a shop or whatever, they let that person know why.  Does anyone else think it's weird that sellers have to play guessing games?

You're so right. That was the thing that frustrated me so much - I couldn't understand why they did it and how to fix it. I honestly don't think I could have figured this out without the help of all the sellers who tried to help me here.
