Buyer Bought from my store and a few others at the same time she odered 2 of the same bag and i only receved the order for 1 and got paid for one item but the customer payed for 2. Im just wondering if its a glitch in the system that etsy only saw one in stead of 2. I have been in comunication with the buyer and have deside to send her the other bag since it clearly shows on her etsy accunt she order 2. but for the future what should i do? and was it a glitch?
@SunburstCreativeArts : What proof do you have that the customer ordered and paid for two items? This could be a glitch on Etsy's part but could also be an error or scam by the customer.
She sent me a screen shot of all the trasactins in the order and it shows that she bought twice from me and if you add up all the orders including my 2 it adds up to the price she paid.
But i only got one order and only got payed for one
The buyer needs to contact Etsy. I would not send another bag at this time.

@SunburstCreativeArts : Just tell the customer politely that you want to help but financial transactions are between the buyer and Etsy and that Etsy does not share ANY financial information with sellers.
Agree with @BagmakerSupply. If your payment account only shows one bag sold, then only one bag was sold from your shop. Possible Etsy glitch but unlikely.
In any case, your buyer needs to contact Etsy, as you cannot do anything for them. This is a financial issue between Etsy and your buyer.
they may have purchased 2, but one was declined,
whatever happened, you were only paid for one, and sent one,
They need to take it up with Etsy, it's their financial information, and etsy won't discuss it with you
