Orders that were delivered weeks ago are still showing as “pre-transit” and this is affecting my star seller status. If you copy and paste the tracking number into the carrier’s website, you will see the order has been delivered. Please fix this! Thank you!

However, going with the 'misery loves company' theory, you are not alone. This is another thread where the shop owner is having the same issue.

You can contact Etsy about the specific orders where their data does not agree with what is on USPS' website. Whether or not they will make any changes is anyone's guess.

Just in case someone has the same issue as me, I’d like to mention that I had to call Etsy support as someone previously suggested. It was a bug on Etsy’s end, and had to be manually fixed.
Hello! I have two orders, one on 1/26/23 and another 1/29/23 still marked pre-transit. I entered tracking for both orders, notified customer and they are moving through USPS. One has been delivered. My shipping was on time and Etsy is in error. Please fix this! Thank you!

Hi. Im having the same issue. My order was dispatched and delivered successfully. I didn't register as delivered. I had to do a second dispatch date (starting today) so technically its only been shipped to day. I have a 'help request' marker on the item for some reason. Buyer was very happy so wouldn't of complained. Please advise. Scott at Nuish

Definitely speak to someone from Etsy support! They should be able to manually fix it once you provide the last four of your bank, social and card on file
I am having the same issue!! One delivered yesterday and the other delivered today, they both say they are in pre-transit.
I can say check your tracking numbers mine have been wrong
@Beanieandthings Lots of us are having the same problem but Etsy has yet to address the issue.
This Star Seller thing is the worst thing Etsy has done to us!!
I don't need to be told how to run my business!
I have been on here for 12 years selling and long before Etsy did this I have always shipped on time, answered customers within a day, shipped Priority Mail with tracking, and provided good customer service, writing to customers to let them know items were shipped, and then checking back with them, etc.
Etsy does not even do this thing right as I had a sale last day of Feb. which would have made 7 sales for past 3 months, and over $300!
Now they are messing up the pretransit stuff!
Also It is not good to have items say shipped when all was done was a label was created, that should also be fixed.
I should always have the ship, review, and customer answer badges always in my shop as I have always done that for 12 years like I said! I see some badges in some shops but mostly Etsy only puts them up if you get the whole Star Seller badge, another annoying thing.
I hate this program as it hurts small shops like mine as since Etsy made bad changes and has a horrible search algorithm I make hardly any or no sales anymore!
I pay to be on here and just want a fair and stable site to sell on.
Why should I have to compete with sellers who have lots of sales and always have those badges???
I also have tried so so many times to email or reach someone at Etsy to no avail! No one that can fix anything or who is a manager or who knows anything EVER gets back to me!!
Etsy's customer service is basically non-existent!
The chat keeps ending in middle of it and I wrote to 4 didfferent people on there and they all said they would pass my messages on but still NO ONE FROM ETSY GETS BACK TO ME!
I lost a sale a while back to because customer had trouble in 3 shops buying items due to an Etsy glitch that said items were sold when they wer not sold.!
And there again I could get no help from Etsy!!!
This company is so bad and people there seem to not want to do much, have contact with their sellers, nor fix anything, nor make this better!!
Also on listings now, you can hardly see what shop it is. I want my shop name visibly at the top!
On reviews photos and descriptions of what was sold again!
Etsy keeps taking everything good away and just collects fees!!
I would think that Etsy would want to have a good name and a good relationship with the very people who sell on here and help them make money!!

If any Etsy worker, and I love those fancy job names they give them, sees this, why won't you get back to me??? And quickly, not like days later?
Etsy needs to take a page from its own book about customer service and have emails easily to support without going in circles in the help section which is useless, and have a phone number to be reached at or where you can leave a message, especially when sales issues arise????
Fix the darn lousy search algorithms! Have you tried it lately and seen how so many other things come up besides what you search for?
Stop the silly reminders in my shop. I am an adult and do not need them. If I wish to review things I will. Do not treat us as if we are 5 years old!
Make this company nice again like it was years ago. And, who has ever heard of a company with no phone number????

The 5 star review works just fine and that is what I go by.
Maybe Etsy should go back and look at shops' track records for years like mine and then you will understand why I am upset.
It looks bad for those stupid star seller badges to come and go in my shop each month!
Hi! I noticed I had several items from years ago that are still "pre-transit" but have been delivered. I spoke to etsy and they gave me every reply from a manual and the fact is they accept no responsibility for the problem or take action to fix the unjust ratings miscalculated from "undelivered" orders, not to mention that the issue is only through etsy and accurate on USPS portal. They apologized for the frustration and ended the chat with no answers or action. I have great reviews on these orders but I don't believe it's fair for the shops and sellers to have this system ratings especially if it's broken and affecting us negatively. Cheers, fellow makers!

Same here, same here, I just got dinged for an item that was delivered ahead of schedule and with full tracking. Help dear Etsy, help please.
I have 19 orders that are stuck in pre-transit... this is so not cool! In the good old days on Etsy when this happened there was an arrow in the shipped area of the order that you could "update tracking" and we could go in manually and plug in the tracking number and viola... it was fixed! That option, unfortuneately, is no longer available or my old eyes just can't see it??? LOL!
Please help, Etsy! Please fix my stats... most of these 19 orders have already been delivered!

Nope. Well, at least, not in my case: item shipped on 3/7 and delivered on 3/11. Displayed in pre-transit since 3/7.
Will toss my name in this too, also dinged on shipping for not providing a shipping number and it was in pre-transit per Etsy and out for delivery per USPS with the tracking number I provided in the order. Please fix
I just got one of those "this week in your shop" emails from Etsy saying that I have 4 packages without tracking, which is NOT true. I never send packaging without tracking. And all 4 of those packages have already been delivered as shown on USPS website! Now my star seller status is down to 85% for shipping and it should be 100%. So frustrating.
I have contacted etsy multiple.times since January about this. All my packages have been delivered yet nothing since Jan 19 shows, via the radio buttons, as having been delivered - they show as either pre or in transit. Etsy manually updated the status for the few few.this happened with, but the radio button selections still don't filter correctly. They have responded via email to my case a couple times stating it is a known problem that is being worked on by their technical team. I highly doubt that. Meanwhile, the status in the middle panel of the shipping orders displays correctly, it is the use of them radio buttons on the right hand panel that don't filter properly. Very aggravating.
