Hello,
Etsy is actively engaged in preventing scammers from targeting our community members. If you receive a suspicious message, please proceed with caution. Etsy Support will never ask you to provide personal information via Etsy Messages, such as your email address or password. Any legitimate message from us will show in your "From Etsy" folder.
If you receive a suspicious message, here’s how to report it:
You’ll find examples of common scammer techniques and phishing messages here in our Help Center. Read our Account Security Checklist in the Seller Handbook for more steps you can take to protect your account.
You are a new unfinished shop with one item listed. No one is trying to order. They are trying to scam/spam you out of your money.
Do not click on any links and spam these messages. Etsy already has what information they need from you. They don't need your email, how much money you have on your card, etc.
Meanwhile, finish your shop. No one is finding you and trying to order with one listing that simply says "t shirt".
What do the messages say the problem is exactly? I do not currently see any other posts suggesting there is an issue with ordering on the site at the moment; be wary of scam messages.
Probably scammers.
If a buyer is having trouble ordering they need to contact Etsy support themselves. Sellers can't do anything about it. Never take an order off Etsy. Don't click on links in emails or messages. You don't need to confirm a sale. The buyer does not need your email address.
Genuine messages from Etsy will also appear in the 'From Etsy' folder of the message inbox.

Scammers tend to target new shops.
