Order total too low to be accepted

Just tried to make an order coming to just over £18.00 from three different shops. When I try to checkout I get a message saying, 

We can't process your order.

Your order total is too low to be completed.

I assume this is a glitch not a sudden minimum price for checkout! Has anyone else seen it? I've tried with both credit card and Paypal.

Try checking out of each shop separately.  Likely there is an issue with only one of the three.

@PearTreeClipArt: As @bradgoodell suggested, try checking out from each shop individually. There seems to be a "minimum" accepted order so that Etsy can at least cover all of the fees associated with that shop's transaction. The "minimum" is looked at per shop, not per order if multiple shops are involved in your purchase.

@PearTreeClipArt I had the same problem and I found out by checking out from each individual shop as @bradgoodell suggested that 2 of the 4 shops were under €1 and therefore too low for the checkout. It would be a good idea if Etsy made it clear to purchasers that they need to spend a minimum amount on each shop in order to prevent further confusion for people like us trying to checkout multiple times without an answer.
