Order refund form bug...

Hi,

I wanted to partially refund a customer for shipping overage. I get the first page where you fill in the amount you want to refund, but I cannot go to the next step to submit...the screen just froze and nothing was loading.

I have tried many times on my laptop yesterday and today, but no luck... 

Has this happened to anybody recently ?

@SandrinesCreations: We do shipping refunds daily (including today) and have not run into that issue. Are you answering the "Is the buyer returning any items to you?" question - that catches us sometimes.

@BagmakerSupply Yes I answer by "No" as I just wanted to make shipping costs adjustments.

Sounds like it's your computer.  Refresh or reboot to clear out the dendritus that can accumulate.

How many tabs do you have open and what is running in the background.  That can slow down or freeze a page,

@ArtDollsbyJD It could be Google Chrome, I know sometimes every single tab freezes - Microsoft bug on windows 11. It wasn't the case on this occasion

I will try to do a clean up though it won't hurt.

I had a glitch with this also, I tried to give a refund for shipping overage and this just happened after funds were deposited to my account, so my payment reserve was at 0. Then Etsy said my card couldn't be charged and to check with bank and what-not. Nothing wrong with any of my banking details  or card on file. After a day I was able to refund from another sale I made. I've never had an issue with this before or with Etsy billing my card. It's got to be an Etsy glitch
