Most likely, yes. Scammers target new shops, hoping the new seller will a) not be familiar with the way things work when they have a sale, and b) will be too excited to have made a sale so quickly they will ignore red flags
If the message was in your inbox here, definitely a scam. If it asked you to click on anything or reply to verify, definitely a scam.
