Order mailed on time marked late!

Hi All, On my dashboard I am being penalized for an order I sent on time, It was ordered September 2, I sent it on the 4th, I have
1-2 days processing time. It was within the time period. When I printed the label it said "Ship Today" so, I know it was on time.

In 10 years this has never happened to me.

Has anyone has this happen before?

I am down to 96% on shipping now. I contacted Etsy via chat, got an actual human—and they told me there was nothing they could do about it. I have never sent a package out late. Just looks really bad. Their fault and they won’t correct it.

You actually have the Smooth Dispatch badge, you only need 95% on-time shipping for that.  The badge you are missing (which stopped you getting the overall badge) is the Rave Reviews Badge.  In July/Aug/Sept you only had 15 reviews, and one of those was a 1 star.  The rest were 5 stars, but you actually need 19 5 star reviews to counter a single 1 star.  In other words, from 15 reviews the maximum number of stars you can have is 75, you had 14 x 5 plus 1 x 1, for a total of 71.  71/75 = 9.46.

they will likely be talking about their customer service stats for this month where it says "keep going" or whatever... & fearing they may not get their shipping star for next month.

I know but when you strive for 100% and the only reason you have 98% is their error and they refuse to fix it, it is quite irritating, especially around holidays when people are looking for 100% as far as dispatch.

you have the badge, so it has not affected anything

etsy uses utc, so it may be that t went over

- also, if you added the tracking number afterwards, it changes the date too.

I used Etsy shipping. I know I have the badge. But it should be 100% 

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

I know why I am missing star seller...no idea why the buyer was unhappy(they gt exactly what they purchased). Anyway, the shipping was through etsy international, so it wasn't added after. It is very strange. They refuse to fix it and it is their issue. This isn't about star seller this is about showing shipping at 98% when it should be at 100% I have never in 10 years shipped anything late.

When I contacted them they said they would report it to the tech team…but that their was nothing they could do about it. 3 times?? I am so sorry! That is terrible.

I've had this happen a few times. When I went into my Star Seller page it said "1 order lacked tracking number". I went into all my orders in the 90-day Star Seller window and they ALL had tracking. (The first time it happened, I had written in a WRONG tracking #, so now I always triple check them.) If you've checked dates & tracking #s, then suspect it's a bug. In the end, I can't actually see a difference in my sales when I have Star Seller and when I don't have it. Not sure it's worth the time and energy to figure out if it can be fixed. But it IS distressing when you KNOW you've done it right!

I checked everything before I contacted Etsy.  Even the CV is wrong. The CV has -- where ship by is supposed to go. It was mailed on time. And the tracking information is correct. 
When I contacted Etsy they told me that they could see it was sent on time, yet could not fix it. It was mailed through Etsy's international shipping program, and I am guessing that is where the problem lies.

@AKitschIsJustAKitsch: First, you need to check the applicable CSV file on your Star Seller page to see what Etsy thinks is late or otherwise has something wrong with it. In particular make sure that *Had processing time?* = yes, *Ship by* has a date, *Tracking/label date* has a date, and *Shipped on time?* = yes. Remember that Star Seller dates / times are in UTC not your time zone.

What happens if you click on the tracking number link on the actual order? If it opens the courier's tracking page and shows the scan history then you have proof that the tracking information was entered correctly.

@AKitschIsJustAKitsch: "The CV has -- where ship by is supposed to go." Then you are the victim of a different Etsy issue - the 'missing processing time' glitch (the third shipping metric). This is an on going issue that has been reported numerous times recently in this forum where some orders "lose" their processing time.

Based on other posts in this forum, the ability to have this corrected by support seems to be rather hit or miss depending on who you get.

A suggestion was made to NOT mention Star Seller as doing so seems to negatively affect the ability to get these kinds of issues resolved.

Had the same all of a sudden. It was related to time zone settings being in another time-zone. Since Etsy changed things in the timezones connected to order book.

I noticed when i wished to add a day with the ship by date. It said for plus one day, two days later.

When i corrected the timezone in settings it changed

If you change timezones back and forth, you can also ship quicker or later I noticed, because the date jumps.
