Hi! Sell on Etsy app issue - I open any listing or try to duplicate any listing, and the app force closes. I try doing this for my second store and I have no issues.
I reinstalled the app, and it’s still the same. Anyone else experiencing?
I did just update my IOS, but not sure why one store would work and not the other.
Did you try restarting your device?
Yes. I’ve rebooted and reinstalledthe app several times. I have no issues accessing in the computer, it’s very frustrating.
I have done this times 3, updated all.. and more. I feel so tense
I’ve also been having the same issue and still am now, it’s incredibly annoying
4hrs later and still not working for me.
I can use the new seller app - but that’s useless when I need variations…. I then have to open it up in a browser or hop on the computer.
It’s still been a pain for me too! I rarely go on my computer or laptop for my Etsy & use my phone app (iPhone) to do everything, I’ve been trying to update stock for certain listings and it just throws me off as soon as I click a listing! I’ve restartedmy phone signed out if the app and back in ect it will not work
I am now going on 48 hours with this issue and it is driving me absolutely insane!! If you find a solution please share!
same!!! Are you an iPhone user? I did update my ios right before I noticed this happening… but so did my husband and his store works fine. I’ve been trying to see if there’s more people having this issue but maybe it’s just us?? Lol. Ugh!!
Yep! It happened literally right after I updated my phone! I am serious. You’re not alone and it is so frustrating believe me I feel your struggle lol
Heya - I have the same issue!
But I have it since Etsy shows a advertise for the new „Etsy Seller App“ at my Dashboard. That was yesterday.
But I also updated to iOS 16.1 yesterday.
My husband has the latest iphone (I have a 12, his is a 14) and we are both on the newest IOS, but Etsy works on his phone, not on mine. Really, really dumb. Etsy twitter said there was an issue that was "resolved" yesterday but doesn't say what that issue was...and clearly it wasn't this one LOL.

Still the same for me and I’m not able to create a new listing either! I get to the description section after choosingcategory,sub categor n it kicks me off!! I’m now going to have to mess around uploading pics onto my computer to do it that way, when you’ve over 30 new items to list this is less than ideal! 🤦🏻
I’ve just added a new listing and it worked fine. There were other few posts on this forum earlier regarding the same issue.
Can you open an existing listing though?
I am having the same issue also after updating last night. It bounced me out often when I click on an item. Then when I tried to list a new item, I’d get part way and it would bounce me out.
I keep checking if there’s an app update too…. And of course not. Sadly, looking at the app history, it’s been a very very long time in between this and the last update.
I know they-Etsy we’re going to remove the old app that we’re both using in light of the new one been released BUT I don’t find the new seller app as easy to use as the old one!
Yup.... and lets hope fix all the bugs in the new app before completely getting rid of the old one
Same here, using Iphone 14 plus max on IOS 16.1 and when I click on any link or try to open on listings the app just closes. I have deleted the app + reinstalled it + logged out & back in + restarted the phone and still no different. ETSY please offer support on this issue
Welp, today I decided to upgrade my phone to the 14 plus max since my husband's account worked on his... and I still can't get in LOL. Silver lining is I upgraded earlier than I was going to, but I'd take an iphone 5 at this point if I could get this app to just work for me!
The same thing is happening to me. I just updated to 16.1 on my iPhone, and now the Sell on Etsy app just shows a black screen every time I try to open a listing. The app isn’t actually crashing, as it still shows as being active. It’s just that instead of showing me a listing, the screen is black. I can still get to my store on my phone by using my browser, but I would prefer to be able to use the app.
