Only receiving some notifications (favorites)

Hello,

I am curious about why I sometimes get notified when someone favorites an item and sometimes not. 

In the seller app, on the home screen, when I check 'news and activity', I will see favorites that I might have gotten a notification about. 

Then, when I check the stats page, and scroll down to Favorited Items, I see things were favorited that I received no notification about.

Why would this be? As a new(ish) seller, I love hearing that notification or sales sound - but I'm not always getting them.

Any thoughts?

Maybe whoever favorited your items has their Favorites set to "Private".

I checked mine and it's set to Private even though I never set it that way.

I'll experiment and favorite one of your items and see if it shows up.

(I favorited the wild mustangs, mother and baby.)

Result - your favorite showed up on the stats page but not on the home page.

I don't think I have my notifications set for favorites, but recently I had a day or so where I didn't receive message notifications (which was stressful, to have to keep checking my email or the app). ETA - I don't have notifications set for favorite items. I DO have notifications set for shop favorites, but have never, ever received an actual notification for that, so I just assumed it was broken lol

I do notice that there are always more favorites that show up under "stats" than "latest activity" - it's been that way on my dashboard for years and I have no idea why

I no longer receive messages about favorites.  It is simply there on the dashboard.
